About Me

I’m Lindsay and I’ve chosen to train for a half-marathon. I’m bascially starting from the ground up, as I have never even run a 5k. Over the next 20 weeks I plan on learning the ins and outs of what it takes to run the 13.1 mile race.

  1. I’ve been chatting up your goal honey, and it’s got a lot of people inspired! Silla’s out walking a couple miles a day, and Amanda’s back on the trail again too. After reading your travails so far, I might get in the hunt myself!

  2. Good luck Lindsay! we’ll be running with you on Sunday!

  3. Get in touch! I’m training for my first half marathon too…

  4. Hi Lindsay
My name is Tony I’m in England and just like you I’m training. I just ran the Eden Project Half Marathon and pushing on for next year’s London Marathon in April. I’m just writing to you because I also blog about my training and would like to meet more people like you and make new friends and share tarining etc. How would you feel about us adding each other’s blogs to our respective blogroll’s? I would love to meet more people on wordpress and share stuff. I hope we can follow each other’s blog? I have absolutely no other agenda, I am not a spammer or a trying to promote any kind of product or business I promise! I’m just a jogger in the Uk looking to make more friends across the ether.
Hope we can be friends. Tony 🙂

  5. I have a question for you regarding your blog. Please contact me when you get a chance.

    Thanks!

  6. I am a first time half marathon enthusiast. I have run over the years on and off. Starting back this time I am prob 40llbs overweight. Any advice on how to drop the llbs? I started running last week 15 to 20 mins. Baby steps. Any advice on how to shed this weight and be fit for a half marathon August 5th would be greatly appreciated. It’s not only the losing weight factor I have always wanted to run a marathon, just figured I would start with a half because it is more mental with me. Any tips …….. Thanks 🙂
